Sneakers

The better we take care of our sneakers, the longer they will last. Let us look after them.

How can we do it

Sneakers have to be put on and taken out untying laces so that they do not get deformed by pulling.
Don't shoot hard objects if the sneakers are not meant for that.
Let us air them so that they get dry after using them, mainly if they are little breathable.
Don't put a lot those of leather at the washer, because the skin gets cracked or peeled. Let us use some shoe polish (the shoe seller or the cobbler may advise us) hydrating cream or cleaning lotion to clean or to preserve their skin.
Wash fabric sneakers with soap and cold water (either hand washing them or using the washer), after having left them soaking for one day, if we find it necessary. Let us dry them without sunshine, in order that they do not get faded.
If they get unstitched or unglued, let us see if a cobbler can fix them.
If they are no longer suitable for us, but they are in a good state, we can give them to family or friends.

Keep this in mind!

Let us buy sneakers when we really do need them and look after them so that they wear well.

The leather sneakers have optimal properties. It seems that some synthetic materials equal them.
