The 22nd and 23rd of October was held in Malta the Workshop “Integrating Education for Sustainable Consumption and Production in existing university curricula”, organized by the CP/RAC with the collaboration of the University of Malta and the Cleaner Technology Centre from Malta. More than 25 university teachers participated in the event that had the purpose to enable them to include in their classes concepts such as Sustainable Consumption and Production and Sound Chemical Management.
The Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention and the Regional Activity Centre for Cleaner Production organized jointly the “Stockholm Convention Regional Capacity Building Workshop on New POPs and the Process of Reviewing and Updating NIPs in the Mediterranean (outside CEE) and French-speaking African regions”.
The CP/RAC and ASCAME, with collaboration from the Fundació Fòrum Ambiental, are organising the 4th edition of the Ecomeda Forum. The objective of the gathering is the symbiosis of business interests with respect for the environment.
On 25 and 26 November, the 4th edition of the Ecomeda Forum, which incorporates the word ‘Green’ in its title, will take place in Barcelona. It is the first time that the CP/RAC collaborates in this initiative that has been promoted by the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) in prior editions.
