This manual of good environmental practices in the logistics sector has the aim of providing methodological criteria and orientation especially for small and medium-sized businesses (generally with fewer resources available for environmental management) in order to incorporate good environmental practices into their daily activities. Introduction of good environmental practices results, in addition to achieving an environmental benefit, in an improvement in overall business management.

Businesses in the logistics sector seek to provide their clients with the best possible services, including a positive environmental attitude and increasing levels of quality. This manual can serve as a useful tool for introducing good environmental practices and gaining an advantageous competitive position.
