POPs in our Life workshop in Egypt

The Regional Activity Center for Cleaner Production (CP/RAC) organizes a workshop on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) that will be held in American University of Cairo (Egypt) on 15th November 2011.

The objective of the workshop is to give students and young people in general basic information about some toxic chemicals that are present in our day life. Participants will be shown where these chemicals are, how they can affect our health and environment and with which solutions we count in order to minimize their presence in our environment.

The workshop is opened to all university students, NGOs, and other interested participants. Attending the workshop is free upon registration by sending an email to vvidal.tecnic@cprac.org or to mremolins@lavola.com with full name and contact details.
