Joint Consultation of Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions with the Basel and Stockholm Convention Regional Centres and FAO and UNEP Regional Offices

A joint workshop with regional centres and offices under the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions and UNEP regional Offices will be held from 27th September until 1st October in Barcelona. The CP/RAC hosts this event after having signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention for the joint organization of the workshop. Near 60 people will attend this event that will gather for the first time the Conventions centres and UNEP and FAO offices.

The First joint consultation of Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions with the Basel and Stockholm Convention Regional Centres and FAO and UNEP Regional Offices in Barcelona coordinates actions on hazardous chemicals and waste and the enforcement of the conventions.
