Rationale

The Mediterranean Network of Universities project proposes to:

-    Promote courses on SCP and sound chemical management, the course will be subsidized, but participants will pay a fee to enroll, we will have “scholarships” for 3 participants, from the 30 accepted.

-    Build a data base of Mediterranean professors and researchers.

-    Establish partnerships with Universities, and fostering them between Mediterranean Universities.

Contributing to creating knowledge for decision makers on the links between the patterns of consumption and production and the environmental degradation of the Mediterranean region

Fostering mechanisms through which sustainable criteria are progressively introduced within the whole consumption-production system of organizations and enterprises: eco-labelling, sustainable procurement, sustainable management of industrial areas, corporate social responsibility, etc.
