On 22nd October, the sixth Global Eco Forum (#GEF2013) took place and brought together at La Pedrera (Barcelona) experts, thinkers and professionals committed to a future based on advanced, sustainable and inclusive societies. CP/RAC took part co-organizing a Workshop on Eco-entrepreneurships, Green skills and Sustainable business.
The CP/RAC organized, within the EC funded Horizon 2020 program, a new capacity building activity on Green Finance the 1st and 2nd of October 2013, in Tunis. Around 30 public policy officers and business representatives from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia took actively part to this training.
On October 22 it is back to La Pedrera, Barcelona, the essential point meeting for decision-makers, opinion leaders and change agents towards sustainability in the Euro-Mediterranean Region: the Global Eco Forum organized by eco-union with the collaboration of CP/RAC.
Within the EC funded Horizon 2020 Capacity Building program, around 15 delegates from various ministries, business associations and consultants from Morocco were invited to Marseille from 17th to 19th September, 2013, to have a better understanding of the sustainable management of industrial sites and the development of green business policies.
The Regional Activity Centre for Cleaner Production (CP/RAC) and MEDPOL with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia-Herzegovina (MoFTER) organized on September 23rd to 26th, 2013, a PCB (Polychlorinated biphenyls) management training program in Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina), under the subcomponent 2.3 of the Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem (MedPartnership) www.themedpartnership.org.
