Technical session on marine litter issues

On 10th December 2013, the Zero Discharge Association in collaboration with the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (in spanish MAGRAMA) will organize a technical session on Marine litter issues in the framework of MARNOBA project.

Marnoba Project, which is carried out by Zero Discharge Association in collaboration with the Biodiversity Foundation of MAGRAMA and KAI Marine Ecosystems, aims to characterize marine litter on the beaches of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Alboran Coastal Demarcation, develop a protocol for marine litter management and raise awareness of society in relation with marine litter issues.

The results of the campaigns and a global overview of marine litter issues in Spain will be provided during the day.
