Launch of the POPs Webinars

To complement its face-to-face training activities, the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention is hosting a series of webinars (seminars via web) that focus on the implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).

Through tailored information and knowledge exchange, the POPs Webinars allow for an interactive dialogue between the Secretariat and the government officials involved in the enforcement of the Convention. The overall goal of the POPs Webinars is to raise awareness, enhance understanding, and scale up learning related to the implementation of the Stockholm Convention. It is also a good way to reach out to a wider network of stakeholders engaged in matters relevant to the Convention using teleconferencing technology.

The first webinar session will be on Reporting requirements under the Stockholm Convention and is schedule to be held on Friday 18th February 2011. We believe this is a good opportunity to extend your knowledge on the reporting requirements and find answers and clarifications to your questions.
