The 34th edition of the international conference on Persistent Organic Pollutants, Dioxin 2014, will be held in Madrid in August-September 2014

17th March 2014 | Updated: 3rd April 2014

The 34th International Symposium on Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), Dioxin 2014, will gather the scientific community determined to look for new scientific strategies, policies and technological advances to protect the global environment from POPs, from 31st August to 5th September in Madrid (Spain).

Dioxin 2014 is the most important international conference on POPs; pollutants regulated globally by the Stockholm Convention, from which SCP/RAC is a regional centre. The symposium is the leading international conference for scientists, regulators and companies to present recent advances in all areas of Halogenated POPs, with the aim to protect human health and ecosystems from them.

The Symposium will offer a high quality scientific program combining both traditional topics and emerging issues. The scientific program will be completed by special satellite events and by exhibitors presenting latest equipment and services in the field of Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants.
